    Celebrate Tampa’s 129th birthday at the Tampa Bay History Center with FREE admission for all visitors from 12 – 5 p.m.

     At 3 p.m., noted historians Dr. Gary Mormino and Dr. Susan Greenbaum, History Center Curator, Rodney Kite-Powell; Special Collections Librarian, Andrew Huse; the Honorable E.J. Salcines will participate in a panel discussion highlighting Tampa’s Hispanic and Latino history.

    Remembering Tampa’s Latino Past: Memory and History Across Generations will be moderated by Dr. Sarah McNamara, and is included with free admission.

    Remembering Tampa’s Latino Past: Memory and History Across Generations is part of the City of Tampa’s Archives Awareness Week.

    This program is sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities and American Library Association’s Latino Americans: 500 Years of History Grant Initiative.
