Grammy award winning band the Blues Travelers is set to headline this year's Tampa Bay Margarita Festival at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park on May 28, 2016. The band became quite popular after their hit “Runaround” topped the charts in the mid-ninties, though they had already been quietly making a name for themselves after after coming together in New Jersey back in the 1980s. This Memorial Day weekend, the smooth sounds of the harmonica will takeover the park when John Popper and his peeps take the Westshore Pizza Franchising stage.
The festival will not only have available a Frozen Trailer, and Margarita Experts that will serve a plethora of frozen and iced drinking delights, organizers have added a slew of events and activities around the festival including a highly anticipated fireworks show, games and live music from an army of local bands. Food stations and food trucks will also be situated throughout the park so attendees will also be able to sample tasty treats from of the best Chefs in the region.
Over 12,000 people attended the Festival last year and event producers are expecting an even larger turnout. General admission pre-sale tickets are on sale at TampaMargaritaFest.com
