London Philips announced today that it has officially opened its’ menswear shop in Hyde Park Village. In addition, London Philips will be opening an in-house barbershop in the back of the store this summer to create Tampa’s first lifestyle store for men.
“We are seeing South Tampa and Downtown Tampa really embrace a city lifestyle, so it made sense to move our shop to Hyde Park Village to be alongside other national and local tenants that help further support a men’s lifestyle store,” said London Philips Co-Owners, Sasha Fruitticher and John Yodzis. “The concept of adding an in-house barbershop was to create a relaxed, all-inclusive environment for men to shop, get a hot shave and a haircut while sipping a local craft beer on tap,” they continued.
“I wanted to fill a mercantile void in Tampa by combining the old-fashioned art of barbering with our classic clothing lines to create the full men’s club experience, and Hyde Park Village provides an ideal platform to support the concept,” says Fruitticher.
London Philips will continue to carry a mix of signature designers across all categories including button downs, T-shirts, swimwear, chinos and accessories from brands such as Billy Reid, GANT Rugger, Jack Spade, Miansai, Solid & Striped, VINCE and more.
