Now You Can Cruise From Tampa to Cuba!

Scand-America International, Inc. d/b/a Tampa2Cuba, a pioneer in the travel to Cuba industry, is announcing it’s newest travel option to Cuba – a cruise. This will be the first cruise in over 60 years to make the journey to Cuba!

The MV Adonia, operated by Fathom is a beautiful cruise ship that can accommodate 700 passengers. Currently there are two departures per month from the Port of Miami, beginning in May and going through November 2016. Scand-America is offering convenient connections from Tampa for selected sailings on October 2, 16, 30 and on November 15th.

Here’s what travelers can expect aboard the MV Adonia:
  • 3 ½ days of shore excursions, including stops in Havana, Santiago de Cuba and Cienfuegos
  • Shipboard travel between ports where passengers can enjoy relaxing by the pool instead of sitting on a bus
  • 3 meals a day including all lunches onshore
  • 7 nights in the same comfortable cabin – the luxury of unpacking only once

The cruise gives the passengers the opportunity to engage with the Cuban people while experiencing all that Cuba has to offer. From the distinctive architecture, to the historic fortresses, to the music and dance, the passengers experience the “real” Cuba and its warm and interesting people.

The cruise and its entire itinerary are compliant with the People2People guidelines that have been set forth by the United States government. In addition, Scand-America has many years of experience in selling legal trips to Cuba via air charters with non-stop flights from Tampa, FL to Havana. To make traveling to Cuba even more convenient, Scand-America is in negotiations to arrange direct sailings from the Port of Tampa to Cuba that are expected to begin within 15 months.
